Philip 'ROCKETS' to Victory!

Ballymena Road Club kicked off their 3 day event with the Clough Rangers Trophy race last night. This year's race saw the largest turn out of spectators and riders in many a year. The race itself was fast and furious, and was won by Philip Bremner (unattached) from Ahoghill.  Philip attacked on the penultimate lap and took a small group of riders away.  On the final lap, this group splintered again, leaving 3 riders contesting the sprint.  Philip proved too strong and powered his way up the hill for victory. In second place was Connor Young (a brilliant ride from the young lad) and in third place was Mark McCullough.
