FUN TOUR SEVEN.

Saturday’s fun tour was ride seven in the 13 week series. Another dry morning and another big turnout with 78 present going out in three groups. 
£30 was donated to the charity fund and the total is now £815.
The touring section completed a longer than usual run of 47 miles to Caddy, Clonkeen, Staffordstown, Cranfield and the Holy Well, Toomebridge, Church Island, Portglenone and then up Hiltonstown road to Killyless and home via Cullybackey. 
The "B” group completed a tour to the now famous "Dark Hedges” at Stranocum then on to Ballymoney, Agivey, Aghadowey, Garvagh and Kilrea.
The "A” bunch completed 64 miles at 18.8mph. Their route was equally scenic and took in Cloughmills, Loughguille, Glenshesk road to Ballycastle then the ascent past Ballypatrick forest and the vanishing lakes and on to Cushendall and Waterfoot.
The "A” group split at this point with some returning via Glenariff with the others going on around the coast road to Carnlough and then up Glencloy and home in through the Braid.

Another seventeen riders qualified for their bronze medals having completed five tours.
They were – Des Agnew, Alan Blair, Laura Blair, Eilis Boland, Stephen Dempsey, Hazel Hughes, Adrian Kirkpatrick, John Maxwell, James McBride, Darren McDonald, Alastair Petticrew, Lori Phillips, Kay Rainey, Eugene Tohill, Gary Worthington, Jonathan Wylie and Sean Wright.
