BRC Sandy Spence & Schools Cups

Wednesday, August 13, 2014
BRC Sandy Spence & Schools Cups will run on the 20th August on the same night as the Sandy Spence Cup, at Glarryford.  This will be a simpler format consisting of just the one road race, based on two laps of the demanding Killymurris circuit.  This will represent the final road race of the season for the youth section of the Ballymena Chain Reaction Cycles club.

The first placed Ballymena rider will take the Sandy Spence cup and a points system for each place will be awarded.  The Ballymena school represented by those riders with the most points will win the Schools Cup.  The same rules will apply - to be elligible for the Schools cup, riders must be a member of any Cycling Ireland affiliated club, and attend any school in the Ballymena Borough.

Depending on the number of riders in attendance, a handicapped system may be used, based on age/ability/experience. Medals will awarded on the night to all participants .
